The Secret of Ella and Micha

The Secret of Ella and Micha - Jessica Sorensen Taken from pagetrotter.blogspot.com

I really liked it. This is my first contemporary by Jessica Sorensen (I read her Fallen Star series-me gusta) and I gotta say I liked this a lot more than the her paranormal. This is a solid NA!! Ella is heart breaking. Her fear and what it makes her do...it hits you in the feels people. I understand what she did and why she did it, but MAN!!! HOW CAN YOU LEAVE MICAH?? He is smokin' and caring and all other wonderful adjectives. And he LOVES her. A lot. It's a beautiful story about trusting yourself and not letting the past define you. It's also about letting people who care for you actually be allowed to care for you. No matter how you try to hide parts of yourself in the end they just shine through. You can't go against your nature for long. I gave it four stars because sometimes it gets a little frustrating and the dialogue can be a little rocky at times, but its so worth it. I really don't need to continue to gush on and on hahaha. I definitely recommend it! Add it to your TBR list on Goodreads here!

ALSO!!! Just finished The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by her and it's even better than this one so go buy all of her books! Happy reading, Chickens!!
